Bohua quotation service
Custom Aluminum Casting Quotation
Agree what the supplier will deliver before comparing prices. Bohua reviews casting, heat treatment, machining and inspection together, then prices the agreed scope for your part and order quantity.
Choose the delivery condition you need
Casting supply
Define the alloy, casting route, as-cast condition and required material records. Identify any heat treatment or finishing included in delivery.
Review casting capabilityCasting plus machining
Include datum faces, bores, ports, threads and sealing interfaces. Confirm whether the supplier delivers a blank, semi-finished part or finished component.
Review casting and CNC scopeSupplier transfer
Identify existing tooling, ownership, drawing revisions and qualification records. Confirm what must be revalidated at the receiving supplier.
Review supplier-transfer scopeFor a component-specific scope, review our pump housing manufacturing and valve body manufacturing pages.
From project review to an agreed quotation
01
Project fit
Your input: Part function, drawing status, required quantity and delivery condition.
Review outcome: Confirm whether the part fits the proposed casting and machining route; identify missing decisions.
02
Technical review
Your input: Controlled drawings, material and temper, critical features and acceptance requirements.
Review outcome: Resolve casting allowances, tooling, machining datums and inspection scope before fixing the price basis.
03
Itemized quotation
Your input: Agreed scope, order quantities, tooling ownership, delivery location and commercial terms.
Review outcome: Separate recurring part cost from tooling, samples and other one-time charges; list assumptions and exclusions.
04
Sample and production agreement
Your input: Approved quotation, drawing revision and agreed first-article requirements.
Review outcome: Agree sample deliverables, approval responsibilities and production-release conditions before work proceeds.
What an aluminum casting quotation should separate
Keep drawing revision, delivery condition and order quantity consistent when comparing suppliers. Ask for an explicit list of exclusions and unresolved technical assumptions.
- Casting and material
- Alloy, casting route, part geometry, order quantity and casting delivery state.
- Tooling and fixtures
- New tooling or transfer, ownership, machining fixtures, inspection fixtures and agreed correction scope.
- Secondary operations
- Heat treatment, CNC operations, deburring, cleaning, finish and protection of machined surfaces.
- Samples and inspection
- Sample quantity, dimensional characteristics, test method, sampling and required records.
- Packing and delivery
- Part protection, packaging, shipment quantity, named destination and Incoterm.
Use the RFQ preparation worksheet to record your requirements, or the supplier comparison guide to evaluate returned quotations.
Check the supplier evidence behind the quote
Bohua Casting operates under an NQA-certified IATF 16949 quality management system. ISO 9001 requirements are incorporated within the IATF 16949 system; Bohua does not currently hold a separate ISO 9001 certificate.
Agree the inspection method, acceptance requirement and record for your part. A quality-system certificate describes the management system; a part's dimensional, material or pressure-test result needs its own project record.
Quotation questions
Can Bohua quote both raw and machined aluminum castings?
Yes. State the delivery condition: as-cast, heat treated, partly machined or finished to drawing. Machining, surface treatment, cleaning and inspection should each be included or excluded explicitly so quotations cover the same work.
Can I ask for a quotation while the drawing is still preliminary?
Yes. Identify open dimensions, material decisions and validation requirements. An early review can establish feasibility and a budget basis; a firm production quotation needs agreed scope and controlled drawing revisions.
What determines the minimum order quantity?
Generally 500 pieces; negotiable for larger or higher-value parts after drawing review. Tooling, batch setup, material and inspection requirements are reviewed for the individual project.
Where should I submit my project and drawings?
Use the dedicated request-quote form for project details. Drawing files are sent separately by email to [email protected]. If an NDA is needed, request it before sharing confidential geometry.

Submit the project details through the dedicated RFQ form, then email drawings separately. Include the same part number and revision in both messages.
