1. Who we are

This website is operated by Ningbo Bohua Mechanical Parts Co., Ltd. ("Bohua Casting", "we", "us"), a B2B aluminum casting manufacturer and trading company registered at No. 27-2, Yonglin Line, Shangtian Industrial Zone, Fenghua District, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China 315500.

2. Data we collect and why

We only collect the minimum data needed to respond to sourcing inquiries and to maintain B2B relationships. Specifically:

• Contact form / RFQ submissions: your name, business email, company, country, project description, and any drawings or specs you provide through an approved handoff. Used only to prepare a quote and to follow up on that specific project.
• B2B outreach recipients: your name, job title, business email, and publicly available company context (e.g. LinkedIn profile, company press release) used as the basis for a single contextual introductory email.
• Optional website analytics: with your permission, Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics and our own visit statistics measure page visits, referral sources and actions such as downloads or inquiry submissions. Google Analytics may use cookies and browser identifiers. We do not send your inquiry text, contact details or drawing files to these analytics tools.

3. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

For visitors and recipients based in the European Economic Area, our lawful basis for processing personal data is:

• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): for B2B outreach emails, where we have a documented legitimate interest in contacting professionals at companies that are potential customers of an aluminum casting supplier, and the outreach is proportionate, relevant, and easy to opt out of.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): when you submit a contact form or RFQ, you provide explicit consent for us to use the data to respond to your inquiry.
• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): once a quote, order, or supplier qualification is in progress, data handling is required to deliver our contractual obligations.

4. How long we keep data

• Website RFQ intake records and accepted attachment metadata: up to 180 days after receipt, after which the website intake copy is deleted or reduced to a non-identifying operational tombstone.
• If a quote, supplier qualification, or order proceeds, the records needed for that business relationship may be transferred to our controlled business systems and follow the active customer retention schedule below.
• Active supplier / customer records: for the duration of the business relationship plus 7 years to meet China and EU tax, export, and product liability retention rules.
• Opt-out records (UNSUBSCRIBE list): retained permanently so we do not contact you again.

5. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (GDPR, CCPA, and other equivalents), you have the right to:

• Opt out of further outreach — reply with "UNSUBSCRIBE" to any of our emails, or email [email protected]. Opt-out is honored within 7 days (GDPR) / 10 business days (CAN-SPAM).
• Access, rectify, or erase the personal data we hold about you.
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (for EU residents, find yours at edpb.europa.eu).

We respond to privacy rights requests within 30 days of receipt.

6. Where data is stored

Website hosting: Cloudflare (global edge network, GDPR compliant). Email: Zoho Mail (business accounts under @bohua-casting.com). CRM / lead records: internal, stored in Ningbo, China, with access limited to our sales team and IT administrator. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

7. International data transfers

If you are based outside China, by submitting a form or engaging in a B2B email conversation, you understand and agree that your business contact data will be transferred to and processed in mainland China for the purposes described in section 2. Bohua Casting implements reasonable technical and organizational safeguards (encrypted transmission, restricted access) consistent with EU Standard Contractual Clauses principles.

8. Cookies

You can accept or reject optional analytics using the privacy choices banner. Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics and browsing attribution start only after you accept. Rejection does not prevent browsing or sending an inquiry. Essential security, fraud prevention and inquiry processing remain active.

Use Analytics settings in the footer to change or withdraw your choice. We store this preference for up to 180 days. Withdrawal clears our stored browsing attribution and accessible analytics cookies and stops subsequent analytics collection. Pages reload to unload analytics tools unless an inquiry is in progress; in that case, finish or copy your inquiry before refreshing. It does not delete an inquiry you have already sent or data collected before withdrawal. Hosting security logs, robot-access records and inquiry delivery records are separate from optional visitor analytics.

9. AI-assisted content

Some of our blog articles and initial outreach drafts are produced with assistance from AI language models. All technical content (material specifications, tolerance standards, process parameters) is reviewed by our engineering team before publication. If you notice any factual inaccuracy, please email [email protected] and we will correct it promptly.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in law, tooling, or our business practice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Material changes affecting existing customers will also be communicated by email.
